A family managed company, Bernard-Massard is the main producer of traditional method sparkling wines of Luxembourg and by extension of the Benelux countries. After more than 92 years of existence, the company remains true to the values of quality and entrepreneurship of the founder Jean Bernard-Massard.

As of today, Bernard-Massard is Luxembourg’s first privately owned wine producer with about 3,5 million bottles leaving their cellars yearly.

The reputation of the company reaches far over the borders of our beautiful country.

Dr. Patrick Adenauer

Dr. Patrick Adenauer is the Managing Partner and co-owner of the BAUWENS group since 1989. The Bauwens group of companies develops, builds and invests in properties – both residential and commercial throughout Germany. Bauwens was founded in 1873 and is owned by Patrick, his brother Paul and their five children.

Patrick is also a Managing Partner of the German American Realty Partners LLC (“GAR”), a group specialized in entrepreneurial and operational real estate investments in the USA. GAR has invested in the last five years $ 500 million in various multifamily assets in the U.S..

In addition to his professional commitments, he holds numerous public positions: President of FBN e.V. (Germany), President of the Berlin-based association of family-owned enterprises “DIE FAMILIENUNTERNEHMER e.V.” (2005-2011), member of the Senate of German National Foundation as well as various positions on supervisory and advisory boards, including those of Talanx Bancassurance Holding AG, TÜV Rheinland AG and DuMont Media Group.

Cathy Noël

Nomainvest / FBN Belgium

Cathy Noël is 3rd generation member of NMC, an international leading company active in the development, production and marketing of synthetic foams, founded by her grandfather in 1950. Today the family leads a private equity company, Nomainvest, which diversified their investments beside NMC in various entrepreneurial companies.
She studied physiotherapy and still works part-time in her practice for psychomotor therapy in Belgium. Simultaneously Cathy has been very active in the family governance and organization of the annual family meetings. She has been a leading actor in the process of setting up a family charter. She joined the boards of Nomainvest and NMC after a 2 years internship in the family business. Since 2017 she joined the executive team of the family holding and works together with the 2nd generation on the development and growth of Nomainvest.
She is married and has 3 kids.

Bertrand de Weck

Lombard Odier, FBN Switzerland

Bertrand de Weck is a member of the 7th generation of Lombard Odier. Founded in 1796, Lombard Odier purpose is to help entrepreneurs, families and private individuals to preserve, grow and transmit their assets over time. Bertrand holds a master degree in marketing and communication from the University of St Gallen and a Bachelor of economics from the University of Fribourg. He particularly developed his research on financial brand valuation, which led him to integrate Interbrand, leading company specialized in Brand strategy, Brand analytics and corporate valuation.

He continued his career at Nestlé in Switzerland where he specialized in analyzing shopper behavior as well as helping retailer achieve growth through a category development approach and improving effectiveness of promotion and sale. In 2017, after 6 years at Nestlé, he moved to Luxembourg to joins the family business as relationship managers for External Asset Managers. His experience in B2B is beneficial for the new departments that was created in Luxembourg. He is married and will soon be a happy father.

Rémi Lesage


Married 61 years old, father of 4 children and grandfather of 6 grandchildren, Rémi Lesage lived all his childhood in the benevolent shade of the chimney of the Tuilerie in Mulhouse. After a master's degree in business law, he worked in a legal consulting firm in Mulhouse for 4 years then at the Medef of Saône-et-Loire where he created a financial institution with Crédit Coopératif for the financing of companies in Burgundy. Rémi Lesage joined the family group in 1990 to head a new activity in the surface treatment of metals. He has been chairing the group since 2002. Rémi Lesage, a member and director of FBN France, is also co-chairman of FBN France's Grand-Est branch.

Nicolas Buck

Chairman of FEDIL

Nicolas Buck, is a serial entrepreneur with a passion for driving change – fast ! A graduate in economics from the University of Bath, he is also a Wirtschaftsingenieur (FA) from the Hochschule für Druck und Medien in Stuttgart. After joining the family business, Imprimerie de la Cour Victor Buck, he co-founded Victor Buck Services, later sold to P&T Luxembourg and in 2012 he established SEQVOIA, a fund tech company, that helps asset managers tell consistent investment stories. Nicolas is the chairman of FEDIL (The Voice of Luxembourg’s Industry), as well as of BLI, an asset management company offering fund and portfolio management services. In 2004, he was awarded Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year distinction at age 34 and in 2016 recognised as one of the Top 5 influencers for entrepreneurship and business creation in Luxembourg.

Goy Grosbusch

Director New Activities and International Operations at Grosbusch Sàrl

Goy Grosbusch was born in Luxembourg in 1987, graduated in the field of web design and IT at the SAE Institute in Munich and holder of a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University Ramon Llull in Barcelona. Following professional experience overseas he joins the family business in 2013 overseeing commercial operations and quickly takes responsibility for international operations. Along with his sister Lynn, he represents the fourth generation at the head of the Grosbusch company created in 1917 by Jean-Pierre Grosbusch.

Carole Muller

CEO Fischer

Carole Muller, 37, started her career as a Junior Expert at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where she collaborated on the medium-term revision of the Lisbon Strategy and the reform of the Stability and Growth Pact during the Luxembourg Presidency of the European Council.
Since 2006, Mrs Muller is working for Fischer S.A., a luxembourgish Bakery founded in 1913. She has worked as Subsidiary Manager. In this mission she developed new products, managed the supplier relationship and cooperated with the marketing department where she helped develop the commercial strategy.
In 2009, she worked as a consultant for PWC before returing to Fischer as Sales Manager in charge of the operational management of the Fischer shops in 2010.
Since 2014, Mrs Muller is CEO of Fischer S.A. In this position, she manages and develops the Fischer bakeries in Luxembourg and in France.
She holds a Master in Management as well as in European Studies. In 2009 she obtained a Diploma from Lenôtre Bakery in Paris.
Furthermore since October 2017 she is secretary of Luxembourg Federation of Young Leaders (Fédération des Jeunes Dirigeants au Luxembourg).

Michel Bradké

Owner of Vitralux Bradtke

Michel Bradtke, 32, holds a Master’s degree in business and tax law as well as a DJCE (diplôme de juriste conseil d’entreprise) from the Université de Strasbourg. After university, Michel worked for three years as a lawyer in the tax department of a Luxemburg law firm. In 2013, he then decided to make a career change and to join the family business. Today, Michel represents the 6th generation and is the owner of Vitralux Bradtke a company founded in 1865 and specialized in the manufacture of glass and glazing products.

Sasha Baillie

CEO Luxinnovation

Before joining the Ministry of the Economy in 2014 as Deputy Chief of Staff and Diplomatic Advisor, Sasha Baillie was Director for International Economic Relations and European Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During her career of more than 20 years in economic diplomacy, she has held several positions abroad. Within the Ministry of the Economy, Sasha Baillie led, among other things, the reform of the economic promotion and prospection for Luxembourg. She chairs the Steering Council for Foreign Trade and Investment, which is in charge of developing and implementing the country’s economic development strategy.
With her experience in managing projects with a strong technological component, Sasha Baillie also led the GovSat project, a joint venture between the Luxembourg State and SES established in 2015 to acquire, launch and operate a satellite for the purpose of military and government communication. Since February 2015 she has been Chairman of the Board of LuxGovSat S.A. In her new role as CEO of Luxinnovation, Ms. Baillie will remain a member of the Coordination Committee of the Ministry of the Economy and will also continue to chair the Inspiring Luxembourg Coordination Committee, which is in charge of promoting the brand image of Luxembourg.

Company Visit Heintz van Landewyck Tobacco, Luxembourg-Hollerich

The city of Luxembourg in August of 1847: Jean-Pierre Heintz opens the tobacco factory Heintz van Landewyckn on Rue de la Porte Neuve No. 9. A man not only marked by his pioneering spirit, but also by his enjoyment of life for the pleasure of it. And so his factory soon becomes the first address for tobacco friends - and the cornerstone of today’s global family company.
